Kirk Fyvie
Independent Engineer/Sales Consultant for Micworks Inc.
Kirk has thirteen years of experience in record production and has
earned two Gold and two Platinum records for sales and/or downloads
of various artists in his discography. His career has landed him in
some of the most prestigious studios that gave him exposure to a
wide range of equipment and recording techniques from some of the
top engineers and produces in the business. He is still active as an
engineer and still ventures up to the LA area whenever the project
requires. Below is a list of some of the artists and projects that
Kirk has either engineered or mixed (either in part or in whole), or
is still currently working on.
In addition to studio engineering, Kirk is also a sales consultant
handling studio design and equipment integration for Micworks in
Irvine, CA. Assessing the needs of the client, then providing the
appropriate equipment, along with the education needed to properly
use the equipment are all part of the daily routine.
Lastly, Kirk is involved with the Golden West College Recoding Arts
Advisory Committee. He works closely with the instructors and
administrative faculty to help shape the curriculum so that the
students may obtain the best education they can whether they are new
to recording or have had several years experience in the field.
